Strengthening Midstream Estate's presence in organic search

See the search results

Midstream Estate wanted its website to rank better organically and capture searches for its brand. FGX's SEO engagement centred on that objective. A comparison of matching quarters provides a measured view of the Estate website's overall search activity.

01 / The objective

An established destination people need to find

Midstream's website brings together information about residential living in Gauteng, including housing, schools, recreation and shopping. People searching for the Midstream name need a route to the Estate's own information.

The client's objective was to improve organic rankings and capture brand searches. For FGX, that meant keeping organic visibility and existing interest in the Midstream name central to the SEO engagement.

02 / The approach

Two priorities for organic search

The brief combined two related priorities. Improving organic visibility concerned how the website appeared in relevant searches. Capturing brand searches concerned people who were already looking for Midstream by name.

These priorities give the work a commercial focus: helping people who are looking for the Estate reach its website and the information there. Search visibility is an early stage in that journey; relevant enquiries and property sales are later stages.

03 / Reporting

A consistent view of progress

The documented reporting uses the Estate's www.midstream.co.za Search Console property. Comparing July–September 2025 with July–September 2026 keeps the assessment on the same website and matching complete calendar quarters.

Both periods cover Google Web search across countries and devices. They include branded and non-branded searches, so the comparison describes overall search discovery.

04 / The outcomes

What the matching-quarter comparison shows

Google Search Console recorded 16,605 Web search clicks in July–September 2026, compared with 12,425 in the matching 2025 quarter. That is 4,180 additional recorded clicks, an increase of 33.6%.

Search impressions increased from 321,197 to 367,319 over the same quarters, a rise of 14.4%. The Estate's pages appeared more often in the recorded search results, alongside a higher click total.

These are overall property results. They do not isolate keyword-ranking gains, branded-search capture or the incremental effect of FGX's work. Clicks also remain distinct from unique visitors, qualified enquiries and property sales.

05 / The next decision

What this means for the next search decision

The recorded increase provides a view of how overall discovery changed during the SEO engagement. The ranking and brand-search objectives explain the business purpose behind the work; the reporting supplies a defined measure of overall search activity.

A fuller assessment of those objectives would look at the relevant keyword rankings and branded queries alongside enquiries. Those measures answer different questions from the overall click and impression totals.
